Have you ever dreamt of a land, that is truly made by the people and for the people; one in which usury isn't a thing? one in which the government respects the individual freedom of every of its citizens? a nation in which people are not only proud to live in, but also to make it strive. This is what our goal is.
The State of Atala is an ideal, but also a goal, a goal that first start from within our minds, it is a natural social contract; but also a promise we make to ourselves. The promise that if we all work towards it, and we work with each other instead of against each other; then we can transcend the misery of the current human nations. Nature isn't for sale, nature doesn't need money to self-regulate, and so do we.
The state of Atala is anarchistic, in the sense that there is no bounds of authority between people; the establishment of transational firms is prohibited. Only sustainable technology can be used in the State of Atala.
History proved us that the governments aren't capable to manage funds, while corporations are unable to manage human resources; to fix this issue, we removed both from the equation. The country has a constitution made of inalienable amendments (our own Bill of Rights, if we can say it that way) stating the individual freedoms of people. The state of Atala doesn't recognize the right of the land, nor the right of blood to acquire nationality; meaning only those that manage to pass successfully a dedicated test provided by the movement, can actually become an Atalan resident.
The state of Atala is a micronation first for logistical reasons (most current countries are unsustainable with this type of society because of their sheer size, even a small country would require to split in different states so for it to just be administrable in a fairly reasonable way). And also as to keep people close to each other. We must know and trust our neighbors, not fear them. And so, we need small communities in which everyone knows everyone. It is essential so trust can be built and the community can get strong.
The state of Atala is a semi-direct democracy, in the sense that everyone holds the power, there is no central authority; and the laws are voted by referundum, in the old-fashion way of the raised hand vote, as it can be observed in countries such as Switzerland.
In the state of Atala, people are their own police and army; it is necessary, first because a small state can't reasonably have its own army of professionals, especially when it runs with low resources; but also because people have the right and they should defend their freedom against potential invaders; as a result, the best way is to train the average civilian and learn it to use power responsibly. As a result, the state of Atala has a complete 2nd Amendment, allowing the possession of every firearm on existence, old like latest, with every attachment; the only condition to own a gun in the state of Atala is a practical test showing the person is indeed capable of using it, knows how it works and how to maintain it, and most importantly knows the basic rules of gun safety and always applies them. If all of this can be established, then there is no limit regarding the number of firearms a person can own, and the ownership of machine guns is allowed (as anyways the full-auto mode is never used in practical shooting situations, it is only for saturation fire and a firearm shooting fully automatically never makes it more accurate nor more powerful in any way). Gun control can't be enforced as anyway a criminal will always find a way to outpass the laws and get any material prohibited by the law; and so, civilians should never have any restriction regarding the ownership of small arms and their ammunition, unless they are trained on how to handle them safely and are given to sane and reasonable comrades.
The currency of the state of Atala is the NATLA, it is a digitally-held currency made to be spent on non-necessary goods; NATLA is earned by contributing to society, the most vital a job is to society, the more the person in said job earns NATLA. As a measure to erase the concept of inflation and having too much liquidity (and so to have the most stable local economy in the world) the NATLA will be resetted every 4 years, this amendment is inalienable. Asides the NATLA every other currency is outlawed. Bartering is legal and encouraged. Personal creation and DIY sustainable items creation are encouraged.
In the state of Atala, the most essential needs (that is to say, food, housing and water) are provided for free to every Atalan citizen. However, that doesn't mean people should live in idleness, only the most basic and essential needs are provided freely in fair proportion to everyone contribution; for the rest, the people will have to work and sweat to earn it regardless.
As a result, there is no poor people in the state of Atala, no rich people, and no middle class either. There is no struggle of classes, no struggle or race or ideology either; the Atalan people understood and went past these egotic and bygone considerations most humans has had at some point in history. The state of Atala is a type of life in which everyone wins in the end.
